Job Description:

Production Line Manager - Fortune 500 Company - Portland, ORWe are seeking a dedicated individual to ensure ongoing excellence in technical expertise and leadership within our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will oversee a principal business line-be it technical, systemic, or organizational-to meet the critical needs of our facility. This role involves achieving key business objectives and nurturing talent to maintain technical proficiency on the production line. A strategic mindset and systematic methodology are essential to maintain long-term success.
In this pivotal role, you will guarantee the enduring excellence of technical skills and leadership in manufacturing by steering a main business line to fulfill the urgent requirements of our site. You will be instrumental in attaining crucial business outcomes and fostering the development of others to preserve technical expertise on the production line. Employing a structured approach and strategic foresight, you will ensure the longevity of these results.Compensation: $110,000 - $115,000 + Bonus + 401k match + Medical, Dental, Vision, 15-20 days PTO, etc.
Responsibilities:
Autonomous and progressive
maintenance systems
Independently maintaining
equipment at fundamental conditions, executing maintenance standards on
specialized machinery
Total productive maintenance
and Six Sigma, including AM qualification
Leading team efforts on the
production line
Navigating complex
interpersonal scenarios with diplomacy
Influencing individuals within
a unionized setting
Effective communication, both
oral and written, with keen attention to detail
Leadership over the production
line
Achievement of SQDCM metrics
Execution of TPM day for your
production line
Management of team incidents
Proficiency in problem-solving
methodologies
Job-Specific Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree Engineering,
Business or similar discipline.
Proficiency in Power BI and
Advanced Office Suite
A minimum of 5 years'
experience in the food industry is mandatory
Familiarity with SAP or
similar ERP system
Six Sigma Training and/or Certification
is required
