At Evergreen Healthcare, we are here to make a meaningful difference.Job SummaryVillage Health Care in Gresham, Oregon is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for resident services and other duties assigned, performing duties with other staff and volunteers as appropriate. Duties include medication assistance/administration, nursing services, dining services and others as needed for resident well-being. Trains other staff as assigned.Essential Functions:Supervises nursing care to residentsComplies with state and Federal RegulationsWorks Collaboratively with members of the healthcare teamMaintains standards of professional nursing practice.Provides back-up to Director of Nursing when needed.Reviews assignments with Director of Nursing and Administrator.Observes changes in resident status, needs or preferences, and communicates them appropriately to the Director of Nursing and/or Resident Care Manager.Demonstrates knowledge of and adheres to procedures for fire, life safety, disaster, security, work, safety, and other emergency procedures.Notifies physician, RN and/or designated agent(s) of resident status/change as appropriate.
