Job Description Job Description Job Title: Machine Operator Job Description As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating production and test equipment, ensuring compliance with safety policies, and maintaining accurate production records. You will conduct quality tests and measurements, interface with quality assurance, and assist with the transport and exchange of materials. Your role will also include daily inspections of production equipment and active participation in corporate values. Responsibilities Operate production and test equipment. Monitor and recommend improvements as needed. Comply with company and area safety policies and practices. Maintain accurate production records and equipment operation records. Perform tests and measurements on parts to ensure product quality. Interface with quality assurance to ensure product quality. Assist in picking, transporting, and exchanging materials, supplies, and parts. Inspect production equipment daily. Support and foster active participation in corporate values and comply with Management Systems. Handle hazardous materials and samples. Ensure the safe transport of hazardous materials and gas cylinders. Operate basic hand and power tools. Essential Skills Experience in machine operation and production line operations. Proficiency in quality control and troubleshooting. Ability to perform general labor tasks. Experience in using computers and touch screen devices. Familiarity with the metric system. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in production or a combination of relevant skills. Why Work Here? Stamping and molding tasks are more independent, while plating and assembly tasks are team-focused. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.17 - $20.17/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
