Safely transport goods across various states in compliance with company guidelines and federal regulations. Manage route planning and scheduling to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction. Maintain vehicle upkeep and ensure compliance with safety standards. Coordinate with logistics managers to optimize loads and minimize empty miles. Handle paperwork and documentation related to freight, including bills of lading and delivery forms. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to enhance business growth. Monitor fuel consumption and other operational costs. Strong driving skills and ability to handle large vehicles Excellent time management and organizational skills Good problem-solving abilities Effective communication and interpersonal skills Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform minor repairs Proficiency in using GPS and routing software Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Completion of a DOT physical Clean driving record HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements are preferred but not required
