Job Description:

as a Day Transportation Supervisor where you will play a vital role
in ensuring the timely, safe, and cost-effective delivery of food
products to various establishments. In this key position, your
focus will be on overseeing day-to-day operations of transportation
departments, ensuring compliance with company policies and federal
regulations, and leading a team of CDL drivers to achieve
excellence in customer service and operational efficiency.
Supervise the daily activities of commercial drivers and logistical
operations. Ensure compliance with all transportation laws,
regulations, and company policies. Schedule drivers, plan route
efficiency, and manage dispatching activities. Monitor and report
on transportation costs, ensuring operations remain within budget.
Implement safety and maintenance protocols for all transportation
vehicles. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide
training and support to drivers. Respond promptly to any issues in
the transportation process, making executive decisions as
necessary. Maintain accurate records of all transportation
activities. Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent
organizational and time management skills Proficient in using
transportation management software Ability to operate and oversee a
variety of transportation vehicles Strong problem-solving skills
and the ability to think quickly in a dynamic environment Medical
