Orchard View, Inc. is seeking a full-time Payroll Administrator who will be responsible for preparing and processing weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payrolls for 125+ employees. During cherry harvest season, the number of employees may increase to 1,400+. The Payroll Administrator will perform a combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining GAAP compliant records. They may also check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by co-workers.
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee time, production & payroll data using Kronos Workforce Ready & Famous software
  • Ensure time records are accurate and resolve any inaccuracies in a timely manner
  • Maintain employee payroll records, paper and electronic
  • Calculate and pay payroll taxes within the lawful timeframe
  • Prepare and submit quarterly & year-end Oregon payroll tax reports
  • Prepare and submit W-2 and W-3 reports
  • Compile labor billing reports by the 10th of each month for leased properties and others as requested
  • Manage and maintain all garnishments and income withholding orders while responding within legal time limits, calculating amounts properly, and submitting payments to various organizations
  • Maintain Unclaimed Property records - preparing reports and submitting payments to multiple states
  • Prepare monthly reports and submit payments for workers compensation insurance
  • Assist with other tasks or special projects as requested by the Director of Finance/Accounting
    Skills and Qualifications:
    • Associate degree in Accounting or College level courses completed to demonstrate applicable knowledge OR Equivalent of 2 years minimum payroll experience
    • Bi-lingual English/Spanish required
    • Strong computer skills & experience with MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, GMail & Google Drive
    • Exceptional organizational skills required and Detail oriented
    • Maintains a high level of discretion while working with confidential information
    • Excellent time management skills
