Job Description:
Kaiser Permanente Georgia is seeking a dedicated Charge
Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Labor & Delivery (L&D) and
Postpartum (PP) care to join our esteemed team. This vital role
ensures the delivery of high-quality and compassionate health care
services, directly reflecting our mission to enhance member health
through integrative care. The successful candidate will oversee the
nursing staff in our L&D and PP units, manage patient care, and
uphold best practices in nursing processes and patient handling.
Supervise and organize the nursing team in the L&D and PP units
to ensure efficient patient care. Coordinate with healthcare
professionals to develop care plans and manage admissions and
discharges. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and
standards for patient care and safety. Conduct regular staff
evaluations and training sessions to maintain high service
standards. Manage patient documentation and records with the utmost
confidentiality and accuracy. Expertise in Labor and Delivery and
Postpartum care Strong leadership and team management abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in
electronic health record (EHR) systems Ability to handle
high-stress situations calmly and effectively Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN
license in the state of Georgia Certification in Basic Life Support
(BLS) Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
preferred Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) highly
desirable
