Job Description:
Legacy Health, a leading non-profit health system renowned for
comprehensive patient care and dedicated community involvement, is
seeking a skilled Supplemental Neurohospitalist to join our
multidisciplinary team. This role will be pivotal in providing
episodic inpatient care across our facilities in Oregon and
Washington. The Supplemental Neurohospitalist will be instrumental
in managing the complex medical needs of patients with a variety of
neurological disorders, ensuring the highest levels of patient care
and safety. Provide high-quality inpatient neurology consultation
to other physicians and health care providers within the hospital.
Manage acute neurological disorders, monitor patients' conditions,
and develop treatment plans. Perform patient rounds, document
patient histories, and ensure continuity of care between various
health services. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare
teams to optimize patient treatment and recovery. Participate in
the training and supervision of medical staff, including residents
and fellows. Stay updated with advancements in neurology and
integrate evidence-based practices into patient care. Expert
knowledge and clinical skills in the field of neurology. Ability to
perform and interpret neurological examinations and procedures.
Strong decision-making skills and ability to handle high-pressure
situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for
effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Proficiency
in electronic health record systems. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Board Certified or
Board Eligible in Neurology. Possession of or ability to obtain a
valid Oregon or Washington medical license.
