Job Description:
Legacy Health, a leader in healthcare services across Oregon and
Washington, is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist with a
temporary license to join our dynamic imaging team. This position
will support our mission by providing high-quality radiologic
services that ensure our patients receive optimal care. As a part
of our team, you will operate sophisticated imaging equipment, aid
in diagnosing ailments, and contribute to a collaborative
healthcare environment. This temporary role is essential in
maintaining the high standards for which Legacy Health is known,
offering an exceptional opportunity to work within a reputable
non-profit health system. Operate radiographic equipment to produce
images of the body for diagnostic purposes Position patients and
adjust equipment for taking X-rays while considering patient
comfort and safety Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform
to safety regulations to protect themselves and patients from
unnecessary radiation exposure Work closely with radiologists to
determine the need for repeat images or additional images Maintain
records of patients treated, examinations performed, and
technologic parameters used Participate in quality control checks
to ensure the functioning of imaging equipment Provide education
and support to patients regarding radiologic procedures Proficiency
in operating various types of imaging equipment Strong attention to
detail and ability to follow complex instructions Excellent
communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare
team members Capability to handle physically demanding tasks such
as moving equipment and maneuvering patients Problem-solving skills
and ability to work independently Medical Insurance Dental

license as a Radiologic Technologist in Oregon or Washington
Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) credentials preferred
Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
(ARRT) preferred but not mandatory
