Legacy Health, a leading non-profit health system renowned for compassionate care and medical excellence, is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Care Practitioner Transport to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in managing respiratory therapeutic and life support services across our transport operations. You will be responsible for providing critical care during inter-facility transports via ambulance, helicopter, or fixed-wing aircraft, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and care during transfers. Assess and manage patients' airway and respiratory systems during transport Implement and monitor mechanical ventilation and other respiratory support systems Collaborate with medical teams to plan and evaluate patient care Maintain accurate medical records and document patient status Ensure all respiratory equipment is functioning correctly before and during transport Participate in emergency care as necessary Proficiency in mechanical ventilators and other respiratory care equipment Strong clinical skills in a high-pressure environment Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Valid state license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner BLS certification; ACLS preferred Transport specific credentials such as FP-C, C-NPT or equivalent as applicable
