Job Description:
Legacy Health, a leading non-profit health system renowned for
providing exceptional health care services across Oregon and
Washington, is seeking a motivated Pharmacy Intern to join our
dedicated team. This role offers the unique opportunity to gain
hands-on experience in various aspects of pharmacy operations
within a dynamic healthcare environment. The Pharmacy Intern will
support our pharmacists in medication dispensing, management, and
safety practices, contributing to our mission of improving the
health of our community. Assist pharmacists in the preparation and
dispensing of medications. Support the pharmacy team in inventory
management and maintaining accurate medication stock levels.
Participate in the development and implementation of patient
medication therapy management programs. Engage in educational
opportunities to learn about drug interaction, pharmacodynamics,
and patient counseling. Follow healthcare regulations and standards
to ensure safety and compliance in all pharmacy operations.
Knowledge of pharmacological terminology Ability to work accurately
under pressure Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in using pharmacy information systems Medical Insurance

Pharmacy Intern license, or eligibility to obtain license prior to
start date.
