Job Description:
Legacy Health, a leading non-profit health system based in
Oregon and Washington, is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician for
our outpatient services. This role focuses on providing top-notch
pharmaceutical care in an outpatient setting, ensuring efficient
medication distribution and contributing to our mission of making
life better for our patients. This position requires a
detailed-oriented professional who combines strong clinical
understanding with exceptional patient interaction skills to
enhance our pharmacy operations. Assist pharmacists in medication
management from prescription processing to distribution. Provide
information and answer questions regarding medication to patients.
Maintain accurate medication storage and record-keeping practices.
Interact with healthcare providers to clarify medication orders.
Educate patients about medication guidelines, health maintenance,
and medication side effects. Ensure compliance with health system
regulations and safety standards. Strong knowledge of pharmacology
and various medication forms. Proficiency in using pharmacy
management systems and electronic health records. Excellent
communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask
efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Pharmacy
Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA). Must be registered or
eligible for registration with the State Pharmacy Board.
