Job Description:
A healthcare facility near Turner, Oregon is seeking a
Neurohospitalist with expertise in Internal Medicine or Neurology
for a locum tenens position starting in early 2025. This role is
focused on inpatient consulting without critical care
responsibilities. The facility is looking for coverage for 1 week
each month, with shifts running from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and
occasional weekend call coverage. Position Details: Location: Near
Turner, Oregon Start Date: January 2025 Specialty: Neurohospitalist
(Internal Medicine or Neurology) Practice Setting: Inpatient
consulting (no primary admitting service) Shift Times:
Approximately 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM Call Coverage: 1 weekend every 8
weeks (24-hour call) Patients per Shift: 10-12 Hospital Stroke
Certification: Yes Support Staff: Includes RNs, MAs, and Advanced
Practice Providers Required Qualifications: Board Certification:
Must be board eligible or certified in Neurology or Internal
Medicine License: Must hold an active Oregon medical license
Certifications: BLS required Skills Needed: Neurodiagnostic
procedures, lumbar punctures, EEGs, thrombolytic therapy, and brain
death exams Key Dates Available: December 23rd (pending
credentialing) February 10th and 24th March 10th April 7th and 21st
May 5th and 19th June 2nd, 16th, and 30th Why Consider This Role:
