Nurse license required Certifications: BLS, NRP, FHMS Must-Have:
Must have a vehicle for this assignment. Common for travelers to
float to other units based on skill sets. Description: This
position will float between units based on unit needs. Every other
weekend is required. The expected ratios are 1:1 for active labor
and 1:3 for postpartum. Follows established staffing standards.
Special requirements include BLS and NRP certifications. Minimum 2
years of Labor and Delivery experience is preferred. Candidates
will float within the facility or to nearby affiliate facilities.
Float assignments may occur based on patient care needs. Travelers'
refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment.
Modules are non-billable, with an average of 16 hours spent. Time
spent on modules is self-reported. Completion of modules is
recorded in transcripts. All requests for time off must be
submitted upfront during the application process. Specific
scheduling requests may not be considered after submission.
