Atlanta Gentle Dental seeks a dedicated and skilled Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our team. As an integral part of our clinic, you will assist dentists in delivering effective and patient-friendly dental services, ensuring comfort and promoting dental health. The role requires the ability to handle various dental instruments and materials with precision and care. You will work directly with patients, providing oral healthcare and education, and playing a pivotal role in the operations of dental procedures. Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment Assist in dental procedures and operate under the direct supervision of a dentist Collect and record patient health histories Provide patients with preoperative and postoperative care Take dental radiographs and impressions Ensure strict compliance with infection control protocols Manage dental emergencies proficiently Educate patients on maintaining optimal oral health Strong knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Ability to take and process X-rays Good understanding of health & safety regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in using dental management software Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) CPR Certification
