We are seeking a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) who is enthusiastic about helping people achieve and maintain optimal oral health. As a CDA at our clinic, you will support dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials while also assisting during dental procedures. This position requires a passion for patient care and an ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures by following prescribed procedures and protocols. Assist dentists during dental procedures with the administration of medications and anesthesia, and by handing them instruments and materials. Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients. Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care. Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential. Ensure operation of dental equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, and troubleshooting malfunctions. Stock and manage dental supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needed supplies, and placing orders for supplies. Good knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent patient communication Proficient in using dental software programs Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential required Current CPR certification
