Registered Nurse (RN) | Ambulatory Care Location: Portland, OR Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,619 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/10/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Outpatient Clinic Cardiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:30 - 17:00) Experience: 3 years nursing experience with emphasis on adult cardiovascular patient care License: RN license for OR and WA Certifications: BLS, BSN or higher Must-Have: Experience and familiarity with Cardiovascular implantable electronic devices Description: Must have experience and familiarity with cardiovascular implantable electronic devices. Conduct interviews with patients, families, and other healthcare agencies to obtain past medical records and social and medical history. Assess patients’ understanding of the plan of care regarding cardiac monitoring devices. Independently perform CIED interrogation in the outpatient setting. Problem-solve device function, settings, arrhythmia episodes, and interventions. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality CIED and medical follow-up care. Analyze clinical data and compose written CIED management summaries, clinic visit notes, and letters. Triage patient clinical concerns, symptoms, or other relevant data in relation to their cardiac device care. Communicate and problem-solve with the multidisciplinary team to resolve complex patient care issues and CIED function. Educate patients and families regarding all aspects of disease management and diagnostic and device management follow-up. Proactively review patient schedules to ensure efficiency in clinical workflows and identify potential conflicts. Ensure appropriate resources are available to support patient care and procedures in the outpatient setting. Educate patients and families on signs and symptoms that require a follow-up telephone call or clinic visit. Collaborate with medical faculty, nursing staff, and other healthcare agencies to facilitate patient and family needs. Assist with accurate data collection and analysis to support device clinic charting platform, national registries, process improvement, and quality initiatives. Assist with managing device alerts, advisories, and recalls in partnership with the multidisciplinary team and vendors.
