Driver/Patient Transportation Coordinator - PACE (Milwaukie) at
Providence Non-RN - Oregon summary: The Driver/Patient
Transportation Coordinator transports elderly and physically
limited PACE participants to various destinations using regular or
specially equipped vehicles. This role requires defensive driving
and passenger assistance training, along with significant driving
experience, particularly with special needs populations. The
position supports the health and independence of elderly clients
within a comprehensive healthcare organization offering extensive
benefits. Description $2,000 hiring bonus for eligible external
candidates that meet required qualifications and conditions for
payment. The Transportation Coordinator picks up and delivers
geriatric, frail and/or physically limited PACE participants to and
from their destinations in regular or specially equipped vehicles,
depending upon the individual geriatric participants needs.

independent lives. Required Qualifications: Coursework/Training:
Successful completion of defensive driving and passenger assistance
training courses within 3 months of hire. Driving is a necessary as
part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state
laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to
provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.

Preferred Qualifications: 2 years Driving experience, which
includes: Driving a large passenger van or small bus. 2 years of
experience transporting people with special needs. 1 year
Experience in transporting individuals with special mobility needs.
