Driver/Patient Transportation Coordinator - PACE at Providence
Non-RN - Oregon summary: The Driver/Patient Transportation
Coordinator at Providence PACE is responsible for transporting
elderly and physically limited participants to and from their
destinations using appropriately equipped vehicles. The role
requires defensive driving training, a valid license, and several
years of driving experience, particularly in transporting special
needs passengers. Providers offer comprehensive benefits and aim to
support the health and independence of older adults within the
community. Description $2,000 hiring bonus for eligible external
candidates that meet required qualifications and conditions for
payment. The Transportation Coordinator picks up and delivers
geriatric, frail and/or physically limited PACE participants to and
from their destinations in regular or specially equipped vehicles,
depending upon the individual geriatric participants needs.

independent lives. Required Qualifications: Coursework/Training:
Successful completion of defensive driving and passenger assistance
training courses within 3 months of hire. Driving is a necessary as
part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state
laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to
provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.

Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of driving experience, which
includes: Driving a large passenger van or small bus. 2 years of
experience transporting people with special needs. 1 year of
experience in transporting individuals with special mobility needs.
