Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Variable (Days/Mids/Nights) Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year preferred License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: ER experience, ability to work as a team Description: Charge nurse experience required. 60-bed acute care, full-service facility. Fully accredited and certified as an accredited Chest Pain Center. 24-hour Emergency Department available. Patient population includes all ages. Number of beds: 21. Patient ratios: 4:1. Equipment includes an electronic health record system. Supervisor available for support. Preferred skills include splinting, EKG interpretation, and IV starts. Common diagnoses and treatments are provided within the department. Ideal candidate is a team player, self-starter, seeks to help, and has good communication skills. Education requirement: BSN. Scrubs of any color are acceptable. No unacceptable attire. One position available for contractor replacement.
