$2,299 per week About The Position Job Title: Pediatric
Hematology/Oncology/BMT Registered Nurse Profession: Registered
Nurse Specialty: Oncology - Pediatric Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day
Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in
pediatric and BMT experience required License: Valid state license
preferred Certifications: BLS, PALS, chemotherapy/biotherapy
provider card Must-Have: Pediatric and BMT experience Experience
with chemotherapy support and central lines Ability to float within
the hospital Description: This position provides Intermediate Level
of Care to patients ages 0-18. Obstetric patients under 18 with new
Hematology/Oncology/BMT diagnoses are considered on a case-by-case
basis. Patients with specific pediatric oncology diagnoses may be
followed until the age of 25 years. Presenting diagnoses may
include leukemia, brain tumors, bone tumors, sarcoma, lymphomas,
blood diseases, immunological diseases, storage diseases, bone
marrow transplants, and graft versus host disease patients. Nurses
in this role provide support to Hematology/Oncology/BMT patients on
other units. This includes, but is not limited to, chemotherapy
support and expertise with BMT patients and central lines. Floating
within the hospital is required, but floating to affiliate
hospitals is not. Weekend shifts are required. First-timers are
accepted with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
