DescriptionThe Specialist-Patient Safety (PSS) develops and
administers programs and interventions that support a safe
environment for patients of Providence Health & Services Oregon.
Through proactive risk assessment, event investigation, and data
analysis, the PSS identifies risk areas and mitigation strategies.
The PSS provides consultation and education to members of the care
delivery team to help create an environment of continuous quality

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Upon hire: Oregon Registered Nurse License
- 5 years Acute care experience in a progressively responsible
position requiring contact with various departments is
essential.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience with patient safety analysis
techniques, including root cause analysis, cause and effect
analysis, failure mode and effects analysis and proactive risk
assessment as applied to the healthcare setting.Preferred
Qualifications
- Master's Degree.
- Upon hire: Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) or
Health Care Quality (CPHQ)This is a Hybrid position - 80% on site /
20% remoteThis position works at Providence Willamette Falls
