visit our ! About the Job We have an opening for a Residential
Associate or Personal Care Associate at our Creekside Residential
Treatment Facility in The Dalles, Oregon. These positions require
that applicants have the ability to work as a member of a direct
care team serving adults with serious mental illness; to support
the development of life skills and therapeutic interventions;
perform housekeeping and meal preparation; medication
administration; and keep accurate clinical documentation. If you
have experience working as a Direct Support Professional (DSP),
Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA), Residential Assistant
(RA), Residential Counselor, Skills Trainer, or Caregiving for a
client experiencing severe mental illness, then this position might
be a good fit for you. Work Schedule: Thursday through Sunday,
7:00am - 5:30pm (Full Time Day) What You'll Make Starting at
$19.00+ per hour DOE/Credentials. About the Program Creekside is a
mental health Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) serving men and
women in 9 residential beds and 3 short term crisis resolution
beds. This program provides 24/7 quality residential care in a
nurturing environment with the emphasis on recovery and
re-integration into the community. ColumbiaCare Services is a
qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
Program . QMHA employees are also eligible to apply for the Oregon
Behavioral Health Loan Repayment Program . What You'll Need
Personal Care Associate
- Caregiving and/or mental health experience (personal or
professional) is preferred.
- A dedication to the well-being of each client and helping them
meet their Activities of Daily Living (ADL). OR Residential
Associate 1 out of 3 Criteria below:
- Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science: Psychology,
Counseling, Social Work, Human Development, or related field;
- OR minimum three (3) years of verifiable behavioral health
experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs in
a supervised setting;
- OR equivalent combination of behavioral science education in
addition to satisfactory supplemental behavioral health experience
and training Successful applicants MUST have a valid Oregon
driver's license, maintain a safe driving record, and the ability
