Job Description:
MCMC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join their
Employee Health Clinic. This is a Full time position, scheduled 40
hours per week and is eligible for a comprehensive benefits
packageThe Employee Health Nurse applies nursing principles to help
workers achieve and maintain the highest level of wellness
throughout their lives. Promotes stresses health promotion in the
occupational/community environment based on prevention of illness
and injury (i.e. through lifestyle changes and risk reduction).
Responsible for overseeing the Employee Health
Department.Education:Graduate of an approved school of
nursing.Licensure/Certification:Currently licensed as a Registered
Nurse in the State of Oregon.Current CPR certification.Current
driver's license.Experience:Minimum three years nursing
experience.One year employee health or related
work.Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:Knowledge of hospital employee
health policy and procedures.Computer skills including email;
internet/intranet; Microsoft office.Interpersonal, written and oral
communications skills.Creative and analytical skills.Skills in
decision making, problem solving, independent nursing judgment and
a broad knowledge of general nursing.
