Avamere is committed to hire, develop, and retain diverse talent with aligned values to build a culture of integrity and respect for all.Key Responsibilities:Directly supervises and guides all therapy personnel in an assigned facility, including, but not limited to, licensed, registered, certified therapists, assistants, aides, and studentsDaily scheduling for the department staff to meet the needs of the facilityProviding direct care and working with supervisor to determine appropriate caseload in tandem with management responsibilitiesAssures that the rehabilitation needs of the residents are metPeriodically reviews the therapy services offered and providing updates to meet the standards of the changing environmentRepresents the rehabilitation department during clinical meetings (PPS, Medicare)Adherence to all regulatory standards as they pertain to the delivery of rehabilitation servicesEnsures that all clinical documentation is complete and timely, and accurately reflects the services providedCompletes chart audits to ensure compliance as requiredCoordinates denials management activities of the department to ensure that claims are timely and/or appeals timely and in accordance with company procedureMeets and or exceeds the productivity standards as established with supervisorEnsures that the services delivered are of the highest quality and meet all standards of practiceImplements new treatment programsMonitors treatment programs for outcomes and adjusts plans of care in accordanceAssures that the department follows the established policies and procedures of the facility and the companyApproves timecards and time worked by the department personnelQualifications:Graduate of an approved curriculum in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Language PathologyMust hold an active license in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Language Pathology in the State of OregonAble to practice unencumberedIn good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boardsPossess a minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience as a licensed therapistWorking knowledge of Medicare and other payer sourcesFull knowledge of resident's rightsExudes professionalism in presentationAbility to multitaskMust be able to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in EnglishCPR certificationMust speak, read, and write English fluentlyMust have an active CPR/BLS certification Avamere is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-Verify.#clinical95Equal Opportunity EmployerThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
