that sound like you?The Opportunity with McKinstryWe are adding a
Construction Project Manager to our Special Projects Group (SPG) in
Portland. We are looking for someone who likes to develop and
manage project plans, schedules, and scopes of work in a fast-paced
atmosphere. You will be joining an established and diverse team
where you will be able to make an immediate impact. You are someone
who thrives in a collaborative environment and are passionate about
solving problems and achieving goals. Additionally, some
responsibilities you will have include: -
- Transitioning project management and engineering activities
through the design to construction phase.
- Developing and managing project plans, schedules, and scopes of
work.
- Preparing client and subcontractor change orders.
- Monitor, control, and report on the financial performance of
projects.
- Coordination of work with trades, subcontractors and
vendors.
- Coach and mentor project team members.
- Develop project staffing plans to include labor,
subcontractors.What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering or
equivalent professional experience required.
- Eight (8) years of experience in project management,
engineering, or construction is required.
- Experience working for a General Contractor or Major Mechanical
Subcontractor preferred.
- Proficient with scheduling software: Microsoft Project,
Primavera and/or Suretrak preferred.
- Completed OSHA 30 class is required.
- Basic estimating skills preferred.
- Demonstrates an understanding of accounting and financial

position is $84,240 - $130,680 per year; however, base pay offered
may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and
experience. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation
package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or
other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay
