JOB SUMMARY:

The Activities Director will plan and coordinate meaningful activities to enrich the lives and environment of our residents. This is a fun and rewarding job that helps maintain and foster a positive atmosphere. Sapphire will provide the training and guidance to make sure you are confident in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Responsible for the direct oversight of the indoor and outdoor activities

* Plan and carry out a creative and enjoyable life enrichment program in accordance with resident interests
* Coordinate monthly activity calendar making it available to all residents, families and friends
* Conduct one on one activities with residents
* Collaborate with outside community organizations or volunteers
* Oversee the life enrichment budget
* The Activity Director will document all participation from residents
* Assists in timely decorating for holidays or special events
* Other duties as assigned
