background as a project manager.
Central City Concern is seeking a Project Manager to help further
the mission of CCC to fully support individuals and families
(housing, health, and training) to regain self-sufficiency ending
the cycle of homelessness for them!
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing,
coordinating, implementing, controlling, and completing medium- and
large-scale projects that help advance the strategy and mission of
the organization. The Project Manager will work collaboratively
with business owners, cross-functional project teams, and members
of the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure projects are
properly planned and executed. Project work will often benefit from
a strong partnership with business owners and an understanding of
the business context for the project.
Additionally, the project manager will sometimes be a "hands-on"
member of the project team by working alongside team members to
coordinate activities and produce deliverables.
The Project Management Office and Team
The Project Management Office includes several project managers who
share knowledge, tools, and techniques to manage a diverse
portfolio of enterprise projects. Projects include designing and
launching new services, service and technology integration,
capability building, business analysis and improvement, and
projects to advance CCC's Equity and Anti-Racism Commitment.
