Job Description Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is for a licensed Physical Therapist to provide specialized care within a K-12 educational setting. The role supports student development by implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to each childs needs, enabling them to succeed academically and physically. The position is part-time, ideally onsite, with a contract duration aligned with the current school year. Location: Dayton, OR Position Type: Part-Time (0.2-0.4 FTE) Setting: K-12 School, primarily onsite Contract Duration: Current School Year (CSY) Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments to determine student needs - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving functional mobility and physical independence - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress - Maintain accurate documentation and reports as required by educational and healthcare regulations - Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development - Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines related to school-based therapy services Qualifications & Experience: - Valid Physical Therapy license with current credentials - Experience working in K-12 school environments or pediatric healthcare settings preferred - Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques applicable to children and adolescents - Ability to effectively communicate with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams - Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment This part-time opportunity offers the chance to apply physical therapy expertise in a school setting, positively impacting student health and academic success.
