is actively seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and
student-centered individual for the position of Level 2 Attendance
Secretary. This critical role is integral to the smooth operation
of our high school, providing essential clerical support to
students, their families, and administrative and teaching staff.
The Attendance Secretary serves as the primary point of contact for
attendance-related matters, contributing directly to a positive and
supportive educational environment. Essential Functions: Works
closely with the building administration in the daily
administration and operations of the building and/or departments
Communicates effectively with students, teachers, parents and
community. Assists with assigned district and building activities
and/or program components for the purpose of ensuring compliance
with financial, legal, and/or administrative requirements.
Processing a variety of documents, mailings and materials for the
purpose of disseminating information to appropriate parties. Create
forms, reports and correspondence as needed. Prepare, maintain and
distribute a variety of records, reports and written materials
including attendance, for the purpose of conveying information and
meeting state, federal, and/or district requirements. Maintains a
variety of student records and files (manual and computer) for the
purpose of documenting an up to date reference. Maintains a variety
of information, files and records for the purpose of providing an
up-to-date reference and audit trail for compliance. Provides
support and assistance to the health room as needed. Oversees
student workers (Cadets) for the purpose of guiding and monitoring
their activities. Assists in receiving and depositing district
fees, inputting them into In-Touch. As well as providing reports,
statements and reminders as needed. Provides direct support to
students and teachers as necessary. Practices ethical standards of
conduct and maintains confidentiality of positions at all times.
Other Functions: Perform other related functions as assigned to
support the success of the district. Provide backup support to
other clerical staff. Qualifications: A high school diploma or
equivalent. Minimum two years of secretarial experience with
increasing responsibility. Demonstrated knowledge of computers and
software, including Microsoft Office, Excel and student systems.
Demonstrated ability to employ principles of proper business
correspondence, including the ability to compose letters,
correspondence and reports from written notes of verbal
instruction. Demonstrated ability to work with frequent
interruptions. Demonstrated ability to plan and conduct the
effective operation of an office, including articulate speech and
grammar skills to communicate in a professional manner.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working
relationships with those contracted in the course of work,
including professional and friendly telephone and personal presence
in welcoming visitors. Demonstrated knowledge of management
procedures and current office practices including the ability to
read, handle and maintain large amounts of paperwork. Demonstrated
ability to initiate support activities without specific directions.
Regular and reliable attendance. Preferred Qualifications: A.A.
degree in related field Successful experience in school district
bookkeeping/secretarial position. Demonstrated proficiency in
Microsoft Office, Student Data program (Skyward) and Google

Assignment: 211 days per year (200 workdays 11 holiday) Salary:
$25.33-$28.37 (See attached PSE Pay Scale) Benefits: Medical,
