Job Description:
Agency Information & Position Opportunity:Jasper Mountain a
private non-profit agency serving young children who are
significantly impacted due to abuse or other trauma. The agency
operates a continuum of services from crisis intervention to
residential treatment and is accredited by Council on
Accreditation. Current operating budget is $7.6 million. The agency
has two physical service locations (Jasper Mountain Center and SAFE
Center), as well as providing services in community settings. For

ImmediatelyPosition Qualifications:A bachelor's degree in
accounting, business or finance and five or more years of
experience in financial management required. Master's degree and
experience with non-profit organizations and medical billing
preferred.Responsibilities and Duties:Responsible for planning,
organizing, and directing the operation and administration of the
finance department. Primary focus on accurate and timely financial
entries and reporting. Responsible for budget development and
long-range financial planning. Supervises the accounting team.
Provides financial analysis as needed by organization leaders.
Works closely with the Director of Operations and/or Executive
Director to provide financial information, reporting and guidance
to the Board.Accounting & Internal ControlsOversee and maintain all
accounts, ledgers, and financial reporting systems in accordance
with appropriate, generally accepted accounting standards and
compliance with regulatory requirementsPrepare month and year end
journal entries and supporting documentation in a timely
mannerMaintain internal controlsRecommend and implement
improvements to accounting procedures, assuring management of risk,
efficiency and compliance with organization policies and government
regulationsCash management, including managing insurance and state
billings and collections, cash balancesManage various financial
contractsOversee medical billings and collectionsOversee accounts
payable managementOversee payroll processing and reportingDevelop
and monitor organization and program budgetsWork with investment
group on short and long-term investments and serve as liaison with
the agency's investment brokersSupervisionDirect supervision of
financial office staff responsible for payroll, accounts receivable
and accounts payable processesProvide feedback, support, and
training for team membersReporting and Regulatory
RequirementsCoordinate annual auditsPrepares and file financial
reports for regulatory agencies and the IRSPrepare all financial
reports and analysis as requested by Executive Director, Management
Team and the Board of Directors including monthly reports to the
Board of Directors on financial status, including accounts
receivable, income and expense statementsOtherPerform a variety of
other accounting duties to assist Executive Director and the Board
of DirectorsPerform other duties as assigned to accomplish the
objectives of the jobSupervisor:The Director of Finance reports to
the Executive Director.Compensation/Benefits:Starting range with a
bachelor's degree is $70,595 $102,252 depending on qualifications
and years of relevant experience.Starting range with a master's
degree is $77,937 $112,860 depending on qualifications and years of
relevant experience.Benefits include generous PTO, 100% employer
